Hulukudi Hills, located in Doddaballapura, is a historic and sacred site known for the temple of Lord Narasimha and the meditation grounds of Sage Agastya. Every year, thousands of devotees gather at this spiritual landmark to celebrate a grand fair with poojas and various rituals.
However, the scale of the event, which draws approximately 30,000 attendees and features six food distribution points, also generates a significant amount of plastic waste, including water bottles, plastic covers, plates, and waste from food stalls.
This year, Good Living Trust (GLT) is determined to make a difference by organizing a sustainable and plastic-free Swachhta Jaatre.
